Nes is also the location of the Wadden Sea National Park, where visitors can learn about the unique nature of the Wadden area. Buren is a small village best known for its historical buildings, such as the church and the old town hall. Here, visitors can experience a piece of the island's history. Ballum is a small village that has a peaceful atmosphere and is mainly known for its bird sanctuaries. Here visitors can admire various species of birds.
