The Achtkante Molen, a windmill dating back to 1761 near Groot-Ammers, just after sunrise on a beautiful autumn morning. The morning mist lingered for a long time (and even got a bit denser after the sun had risen) and although the warm colours of just before sunrise now gave way to some more shades of yellow, there was still plenty of colour in the sky. In addition, there was virtually no wind which produced a beautiful reflection in the water of the Ammersche Boezem. Surely one of the most beautiful mornings I had the pleasure of photographing in the Alblasserwaard.
