Abstract poppy in colourful stained glass mosaic by Studio Pieternel

● Exclusive design for Werk aan de Muur / Art Heroes

This unique artwork brings a fascinating play of light and colour into your living space. The composition is reminiscent of a modern interpretation of a stained-glass window, with an abstract poppy playing the central role. The organic shapes of the leaves flow seamlessly into a complex mosaic of hundreds of small colour fields, creating an impressive sense of texture and depth.

The colour palette is rich and diverse: from deep ocean blue and emerald green to sparkling orange, fuchsia and golden yellow. This digital art captures the essence of natural growth in a stylised, almost jewel-like form. The dark lines separating the colour fields create a powerful contrast, making the colours appear even more intense when light falls on the work.

This design is a perfect choice for those looking for a colourful statement piece. It fits perfectly in a modern interior, but also comes into its own in an eclectic living style. Whether hung in the living room, above a sideboard or in a bright hallway, this work continues to attract attention and creates a cheerful, inspiring atmosphere in the home.
