About the artwork
This abstract artwork shows a beautiful pattern of straight lines all coming together in the centre. The stripes that can be seen have warm deep tones. Various colours can be seen, certainly all colours of the rainbow are present. They are colours with high saturation creating a warm effect.
It is an intriguing work of art. A work of art where you can let your imagination run wild. What do you see in this work? What was photographed here? What created the saturated and warm hues? And how did the orange glow in the background come about, is there perhaps a golden glow here too?
My challenge when creating extraordinary works of art is often to photograph ordinary things from everyday life and transform them into something special after this.
For this richly coloured artwork, I used two photos that were merged together. One photo was taken from a translucent gold-coloured piece of paper, with the photo deliberately blurred with the aim of creating a soft background. The coloured rays in the foreground are the result of a photo of a crystal glass object combined with coloured lighting. The latter photograph has been digitally distorted and duplicated.
All together, it forms an extraordinary and abstract work of art in warm colours!
