About "A walk on the beaches of Holland"

About the artwork

On the Dutch coast, the beaches stretch as far as the eye can see, immense and soothing, where sky and sea merge into an infinite horizon. In this photograph, silhouettes can be seen in the distance: couples walking side by side, families sharing a simple moment, or solitary strollers seeking tranquillity. Here, everyone finds their place, everyone finds their poetry. The sand bears the fleeting traces of these passages, immediately erased by the wind or the tide.

I chose to rework the colours to reinforce the poetic atmosphere of the scene. The nuances of the sand, the silvery reflections of the sea and the soft blue of the sky take on a more artistic, almost painterly dimension, while retaining the simplicity and serenity of the setting.

This image tells a universal story: that of walking, of the inner journey, of freedom. It invites us to slow down, contemplate and let ourselves be lulled by the rhythm of the sea. In an interior, it radiates calm and escape, ideal for creating an open, meditative atmosphere.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
