I took this photo on the Ermelosche Heide near Ermelo in the Veluwe. This heath is a fairly large moorland field where a flock of about 300 sheep also graze. Besides heathland, this field also contains trees such as birch, oak and Scots pine. When I took this photo, the heather was just beginning to bloom, so you can see some purple in the photo. On the morning I took this photo, it was cloudy with sunny moments. I chose to render this photo in 16:9. At the spot where I took this photo was a high point of the heathland, giving you a good view.
