About ‘A splash of red’ by Brenda bonte

An abstract photo taken from the water. As a sailor, you are constantly surrounded by a beautiful water world. Moving, the lines in the water often form a beautiful show. I can't share that with you, but I can give you the feeling of it.

In this photo, something was made of red and reflected in the water. To create a more abstract, interesting image, with more depth of field, a conscious decision was made here to move the camera. This technique is called Intentional camera movement. It is a relatively unknown technique, used to create abstract images.

Sit back and take in the image. What does it make you feel and what do you see happening?

Because of the different reflections in the water that are blurred by the special photography technique, the image is not too crowded on the wall, but still a lot is happening and you will not be bored after 3 viewings.
