While staying in a Spanish hotel, my attention was immediately drawn to this impressive spiral staircase. Seen from below, the iron railings together with the soft light from above form an almost perfect spiral pattern. The graceful details in the wrought iron give it a classic feel, while the symmetrical interplay of lines feels almost abstract.
A wonderful example of how architecture and light come together to create art.
