A serene, folk-style fox with botanical details (AI) (rustic, atmospheric, cute, soft, colours) by Natalie Bruns

This charming watercolour depicts a fox sitting peacefully, surrounded by graceful flowers, leaves and small decorative details in the style of Scandinavian folklore. The fox has a friendly, gentle expression and a soft demeanour, giving the painting an immediate sense of warmth and tranquillity. The small white patterns on its fur and tail, in particular, lend the work a particularly refined character. The subtle blue flowers and playful botanical elements surrounding the fox also ensure that you keep discovering new details.

The colour palette consists of warm orange tones, soft beige, cream, greyish blue and muted green shades. These natural colours combine beautifully and give the work a calm, cosy feel. The painting feels warm and inviting, as if it brings a little piece of nature’s tranquillity indoors.

This watercolour is inspired by Scandinavian folklore, in which simple shapes, graceful floral motifs and decorative birds come together to form a warm and narrative image. The style is deliberately playful and stylised, with soft colours and folkloric details reminiscent of traditional folk art. As a result, the work fits beautifully into a cosy, rustic or Scandinavian interior, but also in a child’s bedroom or creative space where softness and imagination take centre stage.

Within this folklore series, I have incorporated various animals, including a whale, fish, cat, alpaca, deer, butterfly and several owls. All the works can be found in my personal shop under the album “creative mix”.

My love of animals and my interest in other cultures and art styles have inspired me to create this series of paintings using AI.
