A sculpture in the luxury of silence – exquisite and timeless

by AidasignArt

The sculpture emerges from the pictorial space with a commanding presence, as though it had only just been extracted from a still-malleable, pulsating mass of matter. Its form oscillates between organic proliferation and sculptural construction, between natural growth and artistic design. The surface appears both solid and alive – a body that defies any clear categorisation and derives its fascinating tension precisely from this.

A multi-layered application of paint in deep red, rich black and off-white covers the sculptural form. The shades flow seamlessly into one another and envelop the sculpture like a breathing skin. Reflections of light on the glossy surface reinforce the impression of inner movement and lend the work an almost physical presence.

The exquisite sculpture rests on a marbled base, the structure of which partially dissolves at the sides, blurring the boundary between support and form. The deep black background deprives the work of any concrete spatial or temporal location. It intensifies the atmosphere and elevates the sculpture’s appearance to a monumental, almost iconic presence.

The work is part of a series that explores variations on a central formal idea: condensation, mass and reflection. In their interplay, the individual objects unfold a quiet harmony in which form, colour and space interpenetrate one another. As an ensemble, they transform the wall into a resonant space of plastic energy and harmonious balance.
