About "A portrait of The White House in Rotterdam"

About the artwork

On a beautiful spring day I cycled through Rotterdam and of course I passed all the hot spots!

During a break I saw this cool building and with the sun low in the sky it made for a great photo. I took the picture with my Nikon ZFC camera. The line that you see at the top of the photo is a line of hanging lights but this way it gives a cool effect to the photo.

The Calex building is also called the White House of Rotterdam and was the first skyscraper to be built in Rotterdam. It even survived a major bombing during the Second World War.

This photo was taken from a terrace on the other side and this building is located on the Geldersekade in Rotterdam.

The building is in the top 100 of the Rijksdienst voor Monumentenzorg of the Netherlands.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
