About ‘A paradise beach – Portugal’ by Jacqueline Lemmens
This photo was taken during a lunar eclipse on a beautiful beach on the south coast of Portugal, the Algarve.
I have tried to capture the peace, tranquillity, the mist over the water and the mysterious atmosphere in this photo, partly by using a long exposure and converting it to black and white.

Many subjects I find interesting to photograph. But my preference is usually for nature, forms and abstraction.
Editing photos is an important part of my job. In this way I can put my own feeling in the photo, giving it a certain atmosphere.
