I made this macro photo of a small flower in the Harderbroek near Harderwijk in the municipality of Zeewolde, it is wet nature what was created after the second world war. This flower is only a few millimeters in size, it suddenly struck me when I walked past. It just stands between the high green reeds next to a footpath. I just don't know what little flower it is, the purple flower does stand out nicely against the green reeds. When I took this macro photo it was beautiful sunny spring weather. To take this picture I used an 85mm macro lens, I actually did not use a tripod but I took it from the hand. There was virtually no place to put the legs of my tripod, I was lucky it was sunny. I chose to take this picture in portrait mode, because my Nikon D7200 has a grip it could easily be done.
