About the artwork

In the still, icy waters of Greenland, an iceberg drifts slowly, its pristine top covered with a thin layer of snow that stands out like powder white against the grey sky. The landscape almost seems to breathe with silence, but beneath the surface another world unfolds. The water, dark and unfathomable, hides the mesmerising beauty of the ice below.

The underside of the iceberg radiates an almost fluorescent glow, a mystical blue-white sheen that makes the depths of the Greenland sea seem like another dimension. The contrast between the bright, snow-covered ice at the top and the glassy, almost transparent mass underwater is stunning. As the iceberg quietly moves on, it seems as if time itself stands still. The delicate balance between light and shadow, between the visible and the hidden, emphasises the fragile splendour of this arctic wonderland.

Each movement of the iceberg seems to soothe the water, while the underlying ice radiates a mysterious beauty that is visible only at the right moment. It is a visual story of transformation and time, in which the interplay of light, shadow and ice captures a moment of pure serenity, a reminder of Greenland's pristine nature and the impermanence of the landscape as it continues to reshape itself.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
