I took this photo in the Harderbos in the municipality of Dronten in the province of Flevoland. It is a piece of polder nature in Flevoland that was created on the former Zuiderzee soil. Although there are also some conifers, it is mainly a deciduous forest what you see here. As you can see there are also different types of shrubs in this forest. I chose to take this photo standing and convert it to black and white. I wanted to emphasize the height of the forest with this portrait photo. The path in the photo is a dirt path that runs through the forest. To take this photo, I put my camera on a tripod and also used a remote control. I also had a 35 mm lens on my camera.
