About ‘A family affair!’ by Robert Kok

A proud mother and a young and enthusiastic cub being reunited on the Masai Mara plains. The cub was hiding behind a fallen tree trunk until her mother returned from the group of lions some distance away. Obviously, she had been ordered to stay behind the trunk until she returned. Young cubs are usually kept away from the male lions as a safety precaution. Male lions may kill young cubs if they believe they are not his offspring.

In this case, the young cub was not alone. Some other cubs stayed at another location further away. They were hiding behind some bushes and were picked up later.

This young cub must have disobeyed her mother's order and followed her close to the fallen trunk where she finally obeyed. Personally, I love the stand and focused view of the lioness and the curious view of the cub. Wouldn't this image, either in Dibond, on acrylic glass or simply framed, be something special on your wall? Any size and material is possible.
