About the artwork
"A drop of water magnifies a piece of a guinea fowl feather" is a macro photo where focus is placed on the view inside the drop. This magnifies a piece of the feather behind the drop, giving a distinctive effect. Due to the chosen depth of field, in front of and behind this point the feather slowly fades away. This gives a feeling of depth as well as a soft, calm, dreamy atmosphere.
The guinea fowl's feather, which itself has a beautiful pattern in brown (taupe, beige) tones, is also reflected on the background here. This ensures that actually the whole image is pretty much filled with the colours and motifs of the guinea fowl.
Personally, I would describe this work as a warm natural image.
This work could, for example, hang beautifully as wall decoration in the bedroom, kitchen, hallway or simply above the sofa! Also beautiful in business locations such as on the wall in a meeting room, office waiting room or practice room!
