I created this digital painting based on a photograph I took myself in the Valley of the Hoëgne, a beautiful and enchanting place in the Ardennes in Belgium. On a misty autumn day, nature formed an almost magical backdrop: the river making its way between the rocks, with small waterfalls gently cascading over moss-covered stones.
The warm autumn colours of leaves and the humid air create an atmosphere of calm and serenity, while the mist and flowing water evoke imagination and mysticism. The digital techniques I used enhance the scenic impression of the landscape, making it feel like you are stepping into a dreamy, natural world.
