The digital artwork "Nu de Dos et Crème Solaire" is a modern interpretation of the painting "Nu de Dos et Avion" by Emanuel Proweller. This adaptation retains the classic rear view of a woman in swimwear, but now in a stylised, digital style that reflects the simplicity and clarity of vector illustrations. The background consists of geometric areas of colour reminiscent of beach colours: a grass-green background, a yellow strip that could represent a towel or sand, and above it a bright blue sky that gradually darkens towards the top.

The naked female body, covered only by a bright red bikini, takes centre stage. The shapes are fluid and stylised, with a clear contour line and no superfluous details, evoking a certain abstraction and timelessness. As with Proweller's original work, the emphasis is on tessellation, use of colour and the interplay between objects and emptiness.

New in this interpretation is the replacement of the aeroplane with a bottle of sunscreen. This tube, with SPF 50+, is prominently positioned in the image to the right of the body and is a contemporary nod to sun protection and skincare - themes that fit modern health and environmental awareness. The text on the sun cream is clearly legible, a contrast to the more ambiguous mood of the original work.

"Nu de Dos et Crème Solaire" humorously and graphically captures contemporary aesthetics, while paying homage to Proweller's plastic language and his balance between figuration and abstraction.
