About "15th century 'Delft blue' earthenware cup [part 1 of diptych]"

by Affect Fotografie

About the artwork

We see a 15th century cup, a precursor of the well-known 'Delfts aardewerk' which only developed in the Netherlands in the 17th century
In fact, it is 'Majolica' also called faience, after the production center Faenza in northern Italy. In 15th-century Florence, majolica was widely used for religious art. In the 17th century majolica production also flourished in the Netherlands in the form of Delft pottery; the Delft blue.
Beautiful simplicity and beautifully tightly printed on Dibond or canvas in a frame and what about a large print 1 : 1 on acoustic canvas? This work is work 1 of a diptych. Old master , indigo loft
