About Thoth Adan

Thoth Adan is a Swiss-born, Austrian-based artist who gained a BFA (Hons) in Communication Design from Art Center College Design in 1994. The following years he worked simultaneously as a freelance designer, art director, design teacher and artist (mainly focusing on photorealistic portraiture). He exhibited regularly, won some prices and became a committee member of the association of visual arts. In 2013 he ceased all professional activities and reoriented his artistic work fundamentally – he even changed his name to start afresh. Today his art is deeply inspired by minimal aesthetics and Asian philosophies; stylistically rooted in Eastern art, abstract expressionism and graphic design; preferably working with Japanese Sumi ink and mineral pigments on Washi paper.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
