Since 2000 I have been photographing the places and people I meet when I travel. I don't know the hippest places to sleep or the best places to eat. I travel and photograph because of the culture and the people. With my camera I come into contact with beautiful, interesting people who give me a look into their world and with whom I often have warm encounters. By getting in touch with each other, sometimes with hands and feet, we slow down and a connection arises. This connection makes me a happy person. My photos are often created around such an encounter.
