After studying "Industrial Environmental Protection" at the University of Leoben, I worked in Vienna in the pharmaceutical industry as an environmental officer. After a few years of professional life, I realised that my urge to photograph landscapes was so strong that I had to start my own business to give the experiment of being a professional photographer a chance. Landscape photography has been with me more or less intensively for over 25 years. Classic wide-angle landscape shots (grand-scapes) in particular, in which the eye is drawn across the foreground and middle ground to a background in the distance, accompanied by magical light, make my heart beat faster. I regularly travel to Northern Europe,
