About Patricia Leona Art
My art is like myself: colourful and exuberant. Colour is always at the centre of my work, creating a kaleidoscope of shapes and emotions. I get my inspiration from the world around me; my eyes work like a camera capturing experiences to later transform them into a unique work of art.
The nine years I spent living in Nigeria, Hong Kong and Singapore are still an inexhaustible source of inspiration for my creative process. Although I enjoy working in my studio with a rich mix of materials - such as acrylic paint, textiles, paper and beads - I have now translated this passion for layering into the digital world.
For Work on the Wall, I focus on hand-painted digital art. Here, I use my years of experience with physical textures and materials to build digital works that feel equally tangible and animated. I have no set style and don't let frameworks limit me. For me, art is not a static object, but an experience. I hope you will discover something new in my work every time and that it continues to surprise you every time you look at it
