My name is Jan Willem. I photograph because I want to capture beauty; the eternal still moment. I have found that it has become a way of looking. Even without a camera, I am constantly looking and seeing motifs, compositions, fascinated by the play of light and shadow. Shapes that suddenly seem slightly different. I am actually always looking for new models (TFP) to be more engaged with lighting in my home studio. In my opinion, anyone can be a suitable model, not just the one who makes it to the next vogue cover. I look for models with a natural look (no glamour) and try to apply photography as art.
