About Jacques Rutgers

Van jongs af aan ben ik al bezig met fotografie. Tijdens mijn opleiding voor vakfotograaf ben ik me gaan interesseren in het fotograferen van druppels en splash fotografie. Door veel te experimenteren en nieuwe ervaringen op te doen zijn de beelden steeds meer verfijnd. Het mooie van druppels is dat ze altijd anders zijn en met het blote oog haast niet waarneembaar. Ik maak gebruik van gekleurd water en licht en door met zeer korte belichtingstijden te werken kunnen de vallende en botsende druppels vastgelegd worden. In werkelijkheid zijn de druppels niet groter dan c.a. vijf centimeter. Door de dynamiek en mooie abstracte vormen en kleuren zijn de foto?s zeer geschikt voor wanddecoratie. Tevens fotografeer ik veel fruit en andere vaste vormen in combinatie met bewegend water hierdoor krijg je wederom een dynamisch palet van vormen en kleuren.

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
