About Glory of Disrepair

For more than 10 years I am exploring abandoned places all over the world. Magnificent castles, opulent villas, embellished churches and decaying industrial plants are my favorite subjects and the center of my work. I'm very impressed with the precision, symmetry and love to detail that went into building those places. It's fascinating for me, how the elements are sinking their teeth into the places and nature slowly reclaims, what's hers. The combination of beauty, solitude and sadness is very special to me - and that is exactly what i want capture with my photography.
