About Gerdie de Jong

"As a child, I was bored to death at school, preferred to sit by the window to look at the clouds and be carried along beyond the horizon. Fantasising about little people who fit in my pocket and were my friends. Dreaming about swimming among the fish underwater and being allowed to go along to their shell houses. Even now, I still like to dream away, absorbed in colours, looking for transparency and light."

I come from Friesland where the skies are amazing, where there is space and the light is bright. I love colour and simplicity. That makes me happy and I want to bring that out in my art.

I have had art training and have been working as an artist for a long time.

What are the delivery times?

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.

Good quality of a particularly beautiful reproduction It took some effort to unpack, but what came out of the packaging was well worth it. The large reproduction now hangs above the piano and we have already received many positive comments from people!
