I am Elisabeth Visser, an artist and designer with a passion for creating sophisticated, dreamy portraits that strike a balance between strength and vulnerability. My work moves between realism and abstraction, and I often draw inspiration from female figures, adding subtle, surrealistic elements. I work with a subdued colour palette and use delicate lines to create a serene, introspective atmosphere that invites contemplation.
With a background in product design, I have developed a keen eye for composition, texture and detail. This gives my digital works a unique, almost tactile quality. My art combines digital and traditional techniques, making the images feel both modern and timeless. As I also have experience in interior design, I have developed a strong sense of the aesthetics and balance needed to create artworks that will stand out in different types of interiors.
In my work, I look for ways to convey emotion and depth in minimalist images inspired by nature, inner peace and the mystique of everyday life. I strive to create art that fills a space with peace and refinement, hopefully offering others a moment of introspection and stillness.
