About Dieter König
Dear art lover!
I was born and grew up in the cosmopolitan atmosphere of Hamburg. A businessman by profession, I have been working as a self-employed candle maker (yes, the profession still exists!) in my own manufactory in Meldorf, Schleswig-Holstein, since 1980.
As an amateur photographer with artistic aspirations, I produce pictures that are not perfect but are created with a love of art and nature. Although I discovered photography as a means of expression from a young age, it wasn't until 2013 that I had the idea of publishing and selling my work. I am now very pleased that so many of my works are hanging in the homes of art lovers, in doctors' surgeries, cafés or business premises.
Yours sincerely, Dieter König
