My name is Claudia Charlotte Glansbeek (1994). Im a self-taught photographer and graphic designer based in Groningen (Netherlands), with background knowledge in the media, culture and art-sector due to my ‘bachelor of arts’ degree. Still thriving to learn and experiment even more.
Looking through the lense brings the security of knowing I can capture the image, which ever way I want. The strength of photography is the fact that a moment can be taken into a visualization. It becomes a memory, or an image that can surprise you when you see the results. Once captured, the possibility arises to return to that particular moment.
Concepts create the base of my work. I photograph still-life, people (portraits), fashion-series and places. Day and Night Groningen, a concept realised into a book is an example of that, as well as the still-life serie: Combining the Odd.
I shoot Digital and analog photographs.
