My name is Michael Fred Dettmer. I have been working with the possibility of creating creative works of art on the computer for about 20 years.
My world of surreal illustrations and dark atmospheres invites you! Here you can immerse yourself in a universe where fantasy and mystery come together in a fascinating way. In each of my artworks, dreams and nightmares merge into a hypnotic dance that challenges the boundaries of reality. My illustrations are not mere images, but rather portals to alternate realities in which the familiar world is twisted and distorted to reveal a landscape of shadow and wonder.
Each piece I create is a journey of discovery through the deepest and most enigmatic aspects of the human mind. My style is characterised by a meticulous attention to detail and is characterised by a colour palette full of dark nuances and multi-layered textures that give each work a certain depth. Each of my illustrations invites you to reflect on your own thoughts and emotions, while blurring the lines between reality and fiction and allowing feelings to flow freely.
