New Masters | Modern Reinterpretations of Famous Artworks on canvas, poster, wallpaper and ArtFrame by MadameRuiz

A colorful interpretation of centuries-old works by artists including Johannes Cornelisz. Verspronck, Rembrandt van Rijn, Hans Bollongier, Gustav Klimt and Johannes Vermeer. Historical portraits and other masterpieces are given a fresh and literally new appearance: experimental, layered and colorful. New Masters is a collection of contemporary interpretations of well-known paintings, portraits and art-historical motifs. Works by Vermeer, Leonardo da Vinci, Rembrandt, Klimt and other influential artists form the starting point for new compositions by MadameRuiz. Through digital collage, mixed media, painterly layers, typography and modern color combinations, classical masterpieces gain a surprising new character. Sometimes the original portrait remains clearly recognizable; in other works it dissolves into textures, torn paper, abstract patterns or urban elements. These artworks are not literal reproductions, but free reinterpretations in which past and present meet. The collection moves between classical portraiture, modern collage art, street art and digital painting. For lovers of famous artworks, museum art, art history and contemporary wall art, New Masters offers a playful and layered view of art-history icons.
