Indonesia is home to one of the world's richest and most diverse forest landscapes, stretching from the rainforests of Sumatra and Kalimantan to the mountain forests of Java, Sulawesi, and Papua. This collection celebrates the authentic beauty and quiet atmosphere of Indonesia's forests, from ancient tropical rainforests and misty montane forests to moss-covered woodland, forest streams, and intimate botanical scenes.
Each artwork explores a different character of the Indonesian forest. Some reveal expansive landscapes and peaceful forest trails, while others invite the viewer closer to the forest floor, where ferns, tree ferns, wild begonias, broad-leaved plants, moss, roots, wet rocks, and flowing water become part of the composition.
