For the project 'Chinees op Reis', the creators received a 'Merit' award from PANL (Photographers Association of The Netherlands). This project also received the Deutsche Kalenderpreis. It was a collaborative project with designer Nicky van Vliet and photographer Jan van de Laar. The project dates back to 1994.
