the Gerats waterfall near Rettenberg in the Allgäu by Walter G. Allgöwer

Amidst the lush splendour of the Allgäu summer, the Gerats waterfall reveals itself as a true jewel of nature. A sun-drenched June day lets the lush green of the surrounding forests shine in vivid colours, while the clear water of the stream makes its way over the stone steps of the fall in silver streaks.
The gentle rippling of the water becomes a sweet song that dances through the valley and fills the air with an aura of calm and serenity. A fine mist, like the breath of a forgotten fairy tale, envelops the scenery and conjures up rainbow colours in the sunlight.
Surrounded by moss-covered rocks, the Gerats waterfall seems like a melting pot of life force, where the water celebrates the cycle of nature in an endless dance of renewal and constancy. Here, under the protection of the majestic Alps, you will find a place of silence and wonder, far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Individual rays of sunlight penetrate the canopy of trees and bathe the scene in a warm, golden light that warms the soul and fills the heart with gratitude for the beauty that surrounds us. In the Gerats waterfall, we not only find a place of beauty, but also a source of inspiration and peace in the midst of the vibrant nature of the Allgäu.
