A pussy lies on her side, supporting her head with one hand. The other hand is on her hip. Her pose is somewhat reminiscent of a pin-up. She has a fish tail and looks at the viewer with her seductive, green eyes.
My cat often lies in the middle of the floor in the corridor. She then reminds me of a beached mermaid. Consequently, I have to step over her when I want to go to the kitchen.
My work often combines the humour of the everyday with fantasy. I am therefore inspired by the things I see. My cat one of my muses.
The technique I use is ecoline on paper, combined with paper cutting.
For cat people and people who love fantasy, this is an ideal work for on the wall!
My work distinguishes itself by strong colours and clear shapes. I work with ecoline, ink and pencil, but I also like to cut and paste.
I get my inspiration from nature and like to daydream. Animals and people sometimes seem to melt together in these reveries.
