About the artwork

The Sluishuis in Amsterdam IJburg is a striking architectural masterpiece that graces IJburg's skyline. Designed by architecture firm BIG (Bjarke Ingels Group), this futuristic building is a combination of modern luxury and innovative design. Located at the entrance to the harbour, it functions as a kind of gateway to the water.

The Lock House is unique for its shape, which resembles a stylised letter 'M'. This design opens up interesting perspectives and sightlines, both for residents and passers-by. The sharp corners and flowing lines give the building a dynamic character that contrasts with the traditional architecture in the area.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
