Summer is in full swing here on the French plains and is going about its business. The grape vines are ready to supply everyone with grapes for wine again soon. Just a little more patience, they are still growing in the sun for a while. The farmers, meanwhile, are bulking up the hay, the tracking truck turning it into bales and rolls that will then go back into storage for the winter. The bales are full of the herbal mixtures of the area that give the cheese and milk the flavour you only find here, every now and then you can still smell the herbs as they are drying.
