Mantes-La-Jolie; A small town along the Seine near Paris. Photographer Bert-Jan de Wagenaar ended up here once during a boat trip on the Seine where he worked as a saxophone player. Fortunately he had his camera with him, because this little town is really very photogenic. Beautiful streets with ancient weathered houses in the soft light that we never have in the Netherlands, but 400 kilometers south already do. Beautiful soft tones and nice lines in this wonderful picture. This image was already available in color and now also in black and white.
