About the artwork

Unusual companions sit side by side on an arid ledge that stretches across a barren, endless plain: a Siberian eagle owl, a majestic tiger, a massive elephant seal, a pensive human and an imposing elephant. The animals and man appear to be united in silent unity, their gaze staring into the distance, towards the horizon, where no change can be seen - an image of waiting and quiet hope. The sky above them is cloudless, bright blue and yet depressingly empty, while the surroundings are characterised by dryness and desolation.

The surrealistic composition blurs the boundaries between reality and fantasy. The arrangement of the figures radiates calm, but the desolation of the surroundings and the unwavering waiting symbolise a deeper message: the uncertain fate in the face of climate change.

Each character contributes to the quiet story - the wisdom of the owl, the strength of the tiger, the earthiness of the elephant, the melancholy of the human and the otherness of the elephant seal. Together they form a thought-provoking ensemble that captures the moment before change - a silent reminder and hope at the same time.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
