About the artwork

Photo of the head of a beautiful pygmy owl, a white-cheeked dwarf owl. The background of the photo are beautifully soft and out of focus. Allowing the owl to take center stage. The owl looks back at the camera.

The northern white-whiskered owl is a bird in the Strigidae family of owls. It is a small owl, with a bit of a ti beanie-like appearance. The bird is found in sub-Saharan Africa. The northern white-cheeked dwarf owl grows to around 24 centimeters. The male weighs between 185 and 240 grams and the female between 225 and 275 grams. The bird has beautiful eyes, a short tail and distinctive ear tufts. The owl is predominantly white on the underside and turns soft gray with darker tones towards the top. Over the back
run two lines of white dots. The white face is framed by strongly outlined black feathers. Eye color varies between orange-yellow and red. Adult males and females are nearly identical. This one here, I believe, is a female.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
