Mussel or storm piles on the beach of Wissant on the close of Calais.
The beautiful perspective and a strong graphic form prompted me to take a photograph of this.
Like an army of soldiers, these poles stand neatly in line. Do they walk into the sea, or do they come out of it? From this spot many refugees try to cross the Channel to Great Britain. These poles could also be a metaphor for that.
