About "oil portrait of parakeets"

About the artwork

Oil portrait of parakeets, Parakeets are small parrots with a long tail relative to the body length, the budgerigar being perhaps the best known. Originally, the budgerigar is a bird native to Australia. This bird is bred and kept in captivity in many western countries. Furthermore, the term "parakeet" is a general term for smaller parrots from different taxonomic groups. If a bird is called parakeet, it does not mean that it is closely related to other birds called parakeets. However, all birds called parakeets do belong to the order of parrots (Psittaciformes). Below is a selection of some of the small species of parrots called parakeets:

From the family Parrots of the Old World Australian budgerigar (Melopsittacus undulatus) Australian king parakeet (Alisterus scapularis) barnard parakeet (Barnardius barnardi) barraband parakeet (Polytelis swainsonii) mountain parakeet (Polytelis anthopeplus) Bourkes parakeet (Neopsephotus bourkii) elegant parakeet (Neophema elegans) great alexander parakeet (Psittacula eupatria) collared parakeet (Psittacula krameri) regent parakeet (Polytelis anthopeplus) red-backed parakeet (Psephotus haematonotus) rosette parakeet (Platycercus eximius) turquoisine parakeet (Neophema pulchella) From the family of the Parrots of Africa and the New World monk parakeet (Myiopsitta monachus) carolina parakeet (Conuropsis car
