An atmospheric misty len hushed landscape at the end of the day in grey-blue tones at Hollandsch Diep between the Moerdijk bridge and both railroad bridges. The railroad bridges for the HSL-South seem to disappear into the ground at the horizon and they do. On the South Holland side, the tracks plunge into a tunnel under the A16 freeway. On the rear railroad bridge of the more nostalgic "lattice bridge" type, the stripes of a passing NS train are visible. The branch lying in the water in the foreground adds depth to the image and betrays the presence of a small piece of Biesbosch along the shore.
