About the artwork

This painting directs the viewer's gaze to the central area, where a ravine opens up and leads into new, unexplored territories. Birds fly out of this part of the world as if to deliver a message.

Following similar artworks from the past that depict canyons with a body of water in the middle, this painting was created. It was not simply copied from another painting, but the motif was reinvented and developed individually as well as artistically free. A new symbolic element are the curtains. Otherwise, a cool blue tone dominates the scene, which reflects well the humidity and the general dampness in this valley.

For the viewer, the invented scene can seem like something out of a dream, especially because the view of the painting is framed by curtains. Curtains symbolise separation and demarcation and create the illusion of looking through a window. If someone has this painting at home, either as an original or as an art print, it creates an additional window on the wall, so to speak.

It is a smaller oil painting. However, it has been professionally digitised so that it can be used perfectly as wall decoration or wallpaper.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
