About "in frosty cold... Pollard willow Winter flood 2020/2021"

About the artwork

Bislicher Island is under water. The nearby Rhine sends its regards. Freezing cold has caused the floodwater to freeze on the meadows and fields and even on the access road lined with pollarded willows, so that everything is covered with blank ice that shines in the sun.

Ice rings on the trees indicate how high the water was at the beginning of the freezing period. This is a weather situation that - if it occurs at all again in these times of global warming - can probably only be experienced every few decades.

In addition to the special and beautiful motif, the detailed shot is characterized by absolute clarity, rich and strong colors, and a really successful image composition. The blue sky and the beautiful weather are a guarantee for good mood!

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
