Even as a child I had a fondness for butterflies, as soon as spring arrived you knew they were coming again. That there are so many species you didn't know, you saw the day peacock, the cabbage white and the atelanta that you didn't know the name of at the time. And I certainly hadn't heard of these then. Now I have been butterfly hunting for many years and was pleasantly surprised to get this one in front of my lens. And to get it on it in flight was amazing to me. The freedom that butterflies exude is a feast for the eyes for me.
