One advantage of living here is that every year you have thousands and thousands of little still lifes to photograph. At the time, this bunch was hanging out in the early sunshine chilling a bit on a bush. The simplicity completes the picture, the slightly discoloured leaves to my right and even some autumn brown to my left already, a nice full bunch in the middle, a touch of Bob Ross over it and the grapes automatically become cheerful. And that to know that these grapes are now in the barrel for a nice red wine.
