About ‘... empty spaces...’ by Thomas Heins
That day we were near Vik on a very extensive beach. My wife wanted to take a closer look at the distant rock. I couldn't help but sit down on the ground and capture the scene. It's gloomy but also attractive at the same time. You could be forgiven for thinking it was a scene from an end-time film.

I'm Thomas and I've been into photography since 2021. I got into this hobby when we travelled to Scandinavia. In the beginning I only took photos with a mobile phone. But I soon realised that the possibilities with a mobile phone are limited. Shortly afterwards, I bought my first camera and from then on I got even more involved with photography.
My aim is to show the world as I see it.
